Welcome to zone2ride. By accessing this website or submitting any content or information to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. About zone2ride
zone2ride is an indoor cycling application currently in pre-launch. This website serves as a holding page where prospective users can register interest and contributors can submit video and GPX route data for potential inclusion in the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to submit your email address or any content to this website. By using this website you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Email Sign-Up (Launch Notification)
If you choose to enter your email address in the "Notify Me" form, you agree to the following:
- Your email address will be stored securely and used exclusively to send you a single notification when zone2ride launches or when a significant new milestone is reached.
- We will not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.
- You may request removal from our list at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 9.
4. Ride Submission (Video & GPX Content)
By submitting a video link and/or GPX link through the Upload page, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the original creator of, or hold all necessary rights to, the submitted content.
- The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- The content does not contain unlawful, harmful, or offensive material.
By submitting content and accepting the data policy checkbox, you grant zone2ride a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, convert, process, distribute, and display the submitted video and GPX data within the zone2ride application and related promotional materials.
Submission does not guarantee inclusion. All submissions are reviewed before any use, and we reserve the right to decline any submission at our sole discretion without explanation.
5. Intellectual Property
All zone2ride branding, design, software, and original content on this website is the property of zone2ride and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and all content on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. zone2ride does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Health, Safety & Equipment Disclaimer
Indoor cycling is a physically demanding activity. By using the zone2ride application you acknowledge and accept the following:
- Personal injury: zone2ride is not responsible for any bodily injury, illness, accident, or death that may occur during or as a result of using the application. You are solely responsible for assessing your own physical fitness and health before engaging in any cycling activity. Consult a qualified medical professional before beginning any new exercise programme.
- Hardware damage: zone2ride is not responsible for any damage, malfunction, wear, or destruction of your smart trainer, bicycle, components, or any other equipment that may occur in connection with use of the application — including but not limited to damage caused by resistance commands, ERG mode, gradient simulation, or any other trainer control feature.
- Third-party hardware: Compatibility with smart trainers and other Bluetooth or ANT+ devices is provided on a best-effort basis. zone2ride makes no warranty that the application will function correctly with any specific device, and accepts no liability for issues arising from third-party hardware or firmware.
- Use at your own risk: You use zone2ride entirely at your own risk. Always ensure your equipment is properly maintained, secured, and in safe working order before each session.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, zone2ride shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including personal injury, property damage, or equipment damage — arising from your use of this website, the zone2ride application, or submission of content.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
